Things will be a little bit different for Breaux Bridge Football as the season approaches they will be searching for a new Head Coach.

As first reported by KATC's Andrew Clay, Terry Martin will be stepping down from his head coaching position as well as Athletic Director at Breaux Bridge to take the job at Loreauville. During his two seasons at Breaux Bridge Martin tallied at 9-12 record.

Loreauville will be Martin's third coaching pit-stop in his career after having spent 12-seasons at Cecilia, before he took over the Breaux Bridge football program in 2016.

For Loreauville, their former coach Rhett Peltier stepped Monday to join the staff at Destrehan.

The word from Martin as he was leaving Breaux Bridge was that he still had high expectations for the year they'd have as reported by KATC. He also stated that he believes it's one of the best gigs in Acadiana but the decision to leave for the Loreauville Tigers was of personal nature. His wife is the principal at the local elementary school and they live just outside the the town's city limits.
