A game preview, written by the voice of the Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams, James P. Bitterman

Sixteen seniors for the Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams (7-2, 6-0) closed out there regular season in style with a dominating 49-0 victory over the New Iberia Yellow Jackets last Thursday night at Bill Dotson Stadium.

The Wreckin’ Rams used a platoon system at running back and quarterback to open up a 42-0 lead.  Whether it was Myles Hutchinson to Javonis Isaac, or Kevin Moore to Bralen Trahan, whoever threw the ball for the Rams did it efficiently, while eight different players got to carry the football for the Rams.

What does Coach Davidson have in store for the first round of the 5A playoffs?  The one thing we know for sure, "The Big Man" brings a perfect 21-0 home playoff record in to the game versus the Central Lafourche Trojans (6-4).

The Trojans bring a two game winning streak in to Bill Dotson Stadium and an impressive win over Patterson the first week of the season.

The winner of this first round match up will play the winner of the Natchitoches Central vs Parkway game.

The pre game show begins at 6:02 p.m. with kickoff at 7:00 p.m.

The game can be heard in the Acadiana area on ESPN1420, on the worldwide web at espn1420.com, and on the free smart phone app RadioPup.
