Select school principles voted 44 of 71 to eliminate their participation in the Prep Classic Football Championships. However, on Thursday Executive Director of the LHSAA Eddie Bonine tried to have that decision reversed by pleading for the Executive Committee to reconsider.

So, it's now up to the select schools to decide if they ultimately want to participate or not when it comes to playing the State Championship games in the Dome or not for this upcoming season.

If each division doesn't reach a 100% agreement then they'll have to find an alternative plan of where they'll play their state title game.
